Leeds Historical Society works to preserve the cornerstones of our past. The purpose of the Leeds Historical Society is to foster, promote, and increase the knowledge of history to its members and the public in Leeds, Alabama through classes, lectures, seminars, courses of instruction, and other activities.

It is the objective of society to promote the study, learning, and research of historical subjects. It promotes and supports the location, preservation, and restoration of historical sites, buildings, residences, or areas and structures of historical or architectural interests in Leeds.
