The fire station is more than just a place to park fire trucks. It serves many functions that are essential to a fully functional fire department. Firefighters spend 1/3 of their lives in the fire station. They eat, sleep, shower, and fellowship.
The fire station is also home to all of the equipment necessary to respond to emergencies.
