Sanitation and Ordinance Division

Code Enforcement is responsible for educating and informing citizens of the codes and ordinances established for the city by the Leeds City Council. They set minimum requirements and standards regarding property and structures to promote and protect the public health, safety, convenience, order, and general welfare of all Leeds citizens and those who visit our city.

The goal is to provide a proactive approach by maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment through public education, compliance, and enforcement.

Examples of issues addressed by this division:

  • Inoperable Vehicles - Private Property
  • High Grass and Weeds
  • Swimming Pool (Not Maintained)
  • Junk, Trash, and Debris
